General Notes: Husband - John Noble


The Nobles were Scotch-Irish.

In the year 1773, he and his wife removed from a farm which he had owned contiguous to the borough of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, to Path Valley in Franklin County, and purchased and lived upon the farm on which Carrick Furnace later stood. He resided there until his death.
