General Notes: Husband - D. L. Nisbet

He was educated in the country schools. He began clerking in Greenville, PA, in 1872. In 1875 he opened a store at Orangeville, Ohio, and subsequently at Neshannock, Mercer County. In 1877 he bought out William Porter, who had started the store in 1876 in the neighborhood of the Jackson coal banks.
