General Notes: Husband - William Newlon


He was the founder of the village of Newlansburg, Pennsylvania. He built a mill and owned a good farm. He was a quiet, industrious, and strictly honest man, who came from the Sewickley Quaker settlement.

He was born in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and was brought to Westmoreland County by his parents, who were Quakers.
