General Notes: Husband - Benson H. Newlin


After completing a common school education he learned the trade of cabinet maker, which line of work he followed in connection with carpentering and building throughout the active years of his career. He was a staunch adherent of the Republican party, and a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
