He came in the "Planter" to Boston, Massachusetts, at the age of thirty years, with his wife, Rachel, who was twenty years old in 1635; settled first in Boston, then in Braintree. He died at the age of one hundred years. See "Savage's Genealogy of Newcomb Family."
