Tylersburg, Clarion Co, PA

He received his early educa­tion in the public schools, and then went to work in the woods as a lumberman and later became a boat-builder and general carpenter, and finally settled in Tylersburg, where he was in the mercantile business for many years. He was a Progressive in politics.
