He was a 33rd degree Mason, a Trustee in McKinley Memorial Association, Ohio Wesleyan Memorial College. On official board Lima Hospital, M. E. Church; President of The Lima Trust Company and Wichita Natural Gas Company. A very influential and useful man. His life was cut short by a ruffian in the oil field of Kansas.
