General Notes: Husband - Calvin Benton Reyner

He was brought up on a farm, attended the public school near Tylersburg, Pennsylvania, and learned the trade of carpenter with his father. Then, at Myer's mill, near Lickingville, Clarion County, he learned the trade of miller also. For a while he was employed in the latter capacity at Leeper, afterward he engaged there in the milling business on his own account. In 1900 he came to Knox, Clarion County, and began that year as manager of the Clarion County Mills. He owned a residence on Penn avenue. He was a member of Clarion Lodge, No. 277, Free and Accepted Masons; Yokohama Lodge, No. 952, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, at Tylersburg; and the Knights of the Maccabees, also at Tylersburg. For some years he served as assessor of the borough, and was secretary of the board of health. He was a Republican.
