General Notes: Husband - James A. Murrin


He grew up on his father's farm in Marion Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and attended the district schools. He later attended Grove City College. He began his business career in the lumber business at Murrinsville, and later became interested in the oil fields of Butler County as a producer. He was thus engaged until about 1913, at which time he retired from active business and purchased a farm of 350 acres, located near Murrinsville.
Mr. Murrin was always a Democrat and he held membership in the Catholic Church.
