Mrs. Anna Margaret Scowden.
Mrs. Anna Margaret Scowden died at 10 o'clock Sunday morning al her home at Wyattville, at the age of 73 years.
She was born at Calvin's Corners on February 24, 1850.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. H. B. Mead, New Brighton; Ralph M., New Castle; Viola E. Scowden, of New Brighton, and Mrs. J. P. Brownlee, of Washington, Pa. Also one brother, Hugh Mumford, of Cochranton.
Mrs. Snowden was a graduate of Waterford Academy and for a number of years taught school and was also an instructor in music. She was a loving neighbor and a kind friend, and will be greatly missed by her many associates.
She was a member of the Sugarcreek Memorial church. Services will he held at her late home at 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon and will be in charge of Rev. P. N. Osborne. Interment will follow in the Franklin cemetery.
