General Notes: Husband - H. F. "Frank" Moyer

He grew up on the family homestead, received his primary education in the common schools, and afterward attended the State Normal at Edinboro three terms. He then taught school one term in the building where he himself had received his early education, and subsequently spent one course at Duff’s Commercial College, Pittsburgh, where he graduated, afterward teaching a term in his old district. He clerked a brief time in Cleveland, Ohio, and in May, 1884, entered the employ of Livingston & Lohr, as book-keeper, which position he filled up to January, 1887, when, Mr. Lohr having previously died, he purchased his interest in the store, and the firm continued as Livingston & Moyer.
