General Notes: Husband - Hugh Mossman


He was born on the ocean during the voyage to America.

His was one of the pioneer families of West Salem township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania.
He was Constable in 1817; Auditor of his Township 1821 to 1826; Supervisor in 1827.

He was a soldier in the War of 1812.

By his first wife he had four boys and two girls. By his second wife he had four boys and one girl.
