General Notes: Husband - James P. Sterrett


He attended the township schools and learned the plasterer's trade, which he followed for fifteen years. He then located on a farm in Worth Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and in 1878 purchased his farm, and engaged in general farming and bee culture. Mr. Sterritt served as township clerk, and also served as assistant assessor. He was a deacon in the Fairfield Presbyterian Church, and voted the Republican ticket. [HMC 1888, 1106]
