General Notes: Husband - John Bard


He was a soldier of the Civil War and participated in General Sherman's "March to the Sea." He enlisted in the 61st Regiment, Ohio Volunteers, September 2, 1864, and was discharged at Washington, D. C., June 11, 1865. He lived at Brooklyn, Iowa.
