General Notes: Husband - Thomas C. Perrine


He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and received his education at Newell's Institute, after which he took a course of bookkeeping at Duff's College. He then engaged in the oil and lamp business in Philadelphia, but after a time sold out and became a partner in the firm of Edmundson & Son, of Pittsburgh, the style being altered to Edmundson & Perrine. Later he became the senior member of the firm. From 1892 until his death he was president of the Beelington Steel & Iron Company of Virginia. He was a director in various business enterprises. His political principles were those advocated and supported by the Republican party. He was a prominent member of the Methodist Episcopal church and for seventeen years served as superintendent of the Sunday-school.
