General Notes: Husband - William Moore


He was one of a family of nine children, and came to Saltsburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, when a young man, making a permanent home there. He engaged in the tinning business, which he continued to follow throughout his active years, widening his interests until he was the principal partner in one of the largest and most successful business houses in Saltsburg. He was a leading member of the Presbyterian Church, which he served officially as elder, and a Prohibitionist in political association.
