General Notes: Husband - Rev. David Bard


He was a Presbyterian minister and for many years a member of Congress.

He was born at Leesburg, Virginia, where he was educated and married. He then removed to "Carroll's Tract," in the present county of Adams, in Pennsylvania, and after a brief period, to Bedford, where he was engaged in pastoral labor for some years before coming to Hollidaysburg, Blair County.
