General Notes: Husband - Thomas Moore

He was an early pioneer in the settlement of the eastern section of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He came from Ireland and settled in Sadsbury township, at a very early day. He had erected the first grist mill on the Brandy wine creek before the year 1718, from which a public road led to Philadelphia, called the King's highway.
