General Notes: Husband - William F. Miller

He learned the cabinet maker's trade with his father, and was afterwards a partner in the business, under the firm name of W. H. Miller & Son, which existed until his father retired from business. In 1870 he established a factory, and carried on mantel, stair and portico building, scroll-sawing, turning and fancy wood-work, in connection with a planing mill business. His family were members of the English Lutheran church, and in poli-tics, adherents of the Republican party.
