General Notes: Husband - Thomas Miller, Jr.


He was born in Ireland and accompanied his father to Washington County, Pennsylvania, and settled in Mt. Pleasant Township, near Hickory.

He inherited the family homestead in Washington County, Pennsylvania, from his father. He devoted himself to farming and sheep raising, making a signal success in the business. He was a devoted Freemason, and in politics was a Democrat, stumping the county for Polk's election. He was a member of the old Seceder Church, in Mount Pleasant township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.


General Notes: Wife - Catherine Shaw


She came to America with her family in 1818 from County Donegal, Ireland.
