General Notes: Husband - John McVey, Jr.

He married and settled in the McVeytown, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. In 1823 he built Conch Hall on the Diamond, which he opened as a tavern, and where he later died. His daughter, Mrs. Couch, later owned and occupied the house.
