General Notes: Husband - Frederick Zehner


He settled in Jackson Township, Butler County, when he came to Pennsylvania from Germany.

He brought his family to the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in about August, 1839, from the family home in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany, where he and his father had been men of prominence.
His wife was of a very wealthy family.
Shortly after their arrival, the family settled on a farm in Butler County, Pennsylvania.
