General Notes: Husband - William McNitt


He was educated in the district schools of Armagh township, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, and grew to manhood in his father's house. He assisted on the homestead farm, and after his father's death, succeeded him as its owner. He continued its cultivation during his lifetime.
