General Notes: Husband - James Michael McNally

He obtained his education in the public schools of Monroe County, New York, at East Henrietta Academy and St. Bernice Theological Seminary, at Rochester, New York, graduating from the latter institution in 1889. In the following summer he started a dancing school at Perry Lake, New York, which he continued for three years, following which he conducted a dancing academy at Buffalo, for two more years. In 1897 he went to Pittsburgh and there entered the employ of the Pressed Steel Car Company as air brake inspector and remained four years and then, in the same capacity, came to Butler, Pennsylvania, with the Standard Steel Car Company. Mr. McNally continued with this concern until May 4, 1908, when he assumed the duties of Justice of the Peace at Lyndora, Butler County. Mr. McNally was an active politician and a loyal worker for the Democratic party.
He and his wife were members of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church. He belonged to the Independent Order of Foresters, of which he was chief ranger of Court No. 4545, and also to the Knights of St. George.
