General Notes: Husband - John Stewart McMurray

He owned and operated McMurray Convalescent Home in Utica, Pennsylvania, for ten years from 1945 to 1955. His wife also helped operate the home. They both worked at Mission Hospital in Frenchburg, Kentucky, until 1963 when they returned to Franklin. Cecile was a practical nurse and worked at several other nursing homes in the Franklin area, the last of which was Grandview from 1970 until 1974. They were both members of the North Sandy United Presbyterian Church.
