General Notes: Husband - Leander McMillan


Civil War: He was a member of the Twenty-sixth Illinois Regiment; served three years and took part in the battle of Shiloh, in Sherman's march to the sea, and in numerous other engagements. After the war he settled in Illinois.

He was deceased before 1893. [CBRWC, 788] He was still living in 1893. [CBRWC, 1444]

He served for three years in the Civil war, in the Twenty-sixth Illinois Regi-ment (he took part in the battle of Shiloh, was in Sherman's march to the sea, and in various other engagements; he was shot in the shoulder, and died of disease contracted in the service.) CBRWC, 1141
