---

He was a Methodist Episcopal clergyman. He entered the Pittsburgh Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1827; was afterward transferred to the Erie Conference, and on the division of that conference fell into the East Ohio, and at the end of an itinerancy of fifty years died at Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio.
