General Notes: Husband - Caleb Ball


He settled in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, in 1798. He served in the Revolutionary War and was a soldier in the war of 1812, was wounded and brought home in a sleigh, and died nearly two years thereafter of an illness which he contracted in military service.

In 1796 he and his wife came to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and located on a tract of land in what is now Worth Township. He and his wife reared eight children; only one was still living in 1888.

She lived to be about ninety-five years old.
