General Notes: Husband - Abner Reed

He was educated in the public schools, which then existed in his neighborhood and passed his entire active years engaged in agriculture. He became possessed of a large amount of improved and unimproved land and to the development of his estate he devoted his life. He lived in Reedsville, Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, many years, but spent the last ten years of his life on his back mountain farm. Both he and his wife were devoted Presbyterians and liberal supporters of the East Kishacoquillas Church.

General Notes: Wife - Rhoda McKinney

After being widowed a second time she lived with her children until her death, which occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. "Polly" Ann Taylor.
