General Notes: Husband - Nathaniel Hill


He was born in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and resided there up to early manhood. About the time of his marriage he moved to Mercer County, where he remained until the fall of 1859, when he bought a farm in the southern part of Shenango Township, Lawrence County, on which he lived thereafter for many years. Prior to his death he settled near Hadley, in Mercer County. His business was farming and stock-raising. Early in mature life he voted with the Whig party, but later was a Republican.
