General Notes: Husband - John McIntyre

He passed the days of his boyhood and youth in Elk town-ship, Clarion County, Pennsylvania. In 1859, the time of the Pike's Peak excitement, he started for that place, but failed to reach his destination. He remained in the West, however, until the breaking out of the Civil war, when he enlisted in the cause, and served as general wagon-master until honorably discharged. He died away from home in the West. His widow made her home in Haynie, Clarion County.
