General Notes: Husband - John F. Peoples


He was born in the little log house which was built by his par-ents in 1840 on their homestead in Ven-ango Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. In his boyhood days he attended the old Cochran school, after which he took up agricultural pursuits. He was a Democrat in politics, and was road supervisor and road master of Ven-ango Township. He and his family were members of the St. Alsophus Church at Murrinsville.
