---

He emigrated from Ireland to America a short time before his father.
He was elected high constable of the borough of Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania. In 1805 he owned a horse-mill; in 1809 he kept a tavern. Later he moved to the Bowland farm in Chartiers township, and afterwards returned to Canonsburg.
