General Notes: Husband - Joseph McFarran


Of Scotch Irish descent, he settled in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and removed to Butler County, about 1790; married and soon thereafter set-tling in Beaver. He was a teacher, and did the clerical work for the Harmony Society in the early days of the county.
