General Notes: Wife - Sarah Waddle


Among the pioneer settlers of Worth township, Mercer County, PA, were Mrs. Sarah (Waddle) McDowell and her brother William Waddle. They came from Franklin County, PA, about 1798. He located 100 acres and she the adjoining tract of 100 acres, lying south of what was known as the St. Paul Schoolhouse.
