General Notes: Husband - Edward McDonald


He was born in Robinson township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, where he was reared and educated and passed his entire life.
He followed farming and stock raising, and in politics was a prominent worker in the Whig party, serving as a member of the Legislature and as a justice of the peace. In religious faith he was an elder and trustee of the Presbyterian Church at Candor.
