General Notes: Husband - Thomas McCracken


He was brought up a farmer, and educated in the common schools. He subsequently erected a saw-mill on Dawson's Run, in Sandy Creek Township, Mercer County, PA, and for many years was engaged in the lumber business. He was a member of the Sheakleyville Presbyterian Church, and a Republican [HMC 1888, 1099]
