General Notes: Husband - Oliver S. McCracken

He was an industrious and honorable farmer and a kind and thoughtful husband and father. He was also particularly devoted to the interests of his church, and when the edifice at Sheakleyville was burned to the ground, it was largely through his efforts that it was rebuilt on even a more comfortable and attractive scale, and that he himself was the largest subscriber to its rebuilding. [HMC 1909, 1032]

General Notes: Wife - Sophia Minnis

She attended district school until she was about eighteen years of age, being married in the succeeding year.
