General Notes: Husband - Samuel W. McCoy


Civil War: he was in company A, 61st Pennsylvania volunteers, enlisting in 1864, and served to the close of the war; he was wounded at Fort Stephens, D. C., and slightly wounded at Spottsylvania C. H., Virginia.

He settled on his farm, on the road from Cookport to Cherry Tree, in 1869.
