General Notes: Husband - Milford H. McCoy

He was educated at the schools of Grove City, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and taught for six years. He followed farming for twelve years and in 1891 engaged in the furniture business under the firm name of McCoy & Peasale, continuing seven years and in 1898 this partnership was dissolved and he then operated alone and made a specialty of funeral directorship. He was a believer in the principles upon which the Republican party was founded, and cast his vote with that political organization. He was connected with Masonry, advanced to the degree of Knight Templar; he also belonged to the Odd Fellows fraternity and in church relations was a member of the Presbyterian denomination.
