General Notes: Husband - John McCoy

He was a native of York County, Pennsylvania. In 1803 he purchased and moved onto an uncultivated farm in Chartiers township, Washington County, which was later owned by his grandson, Alexander C. He followed farming and stock raising. In religious faith he was a member of the Seceder Church, and in politics a Whig.
