General Notes: Husband - John Weller McClymonds


He received his early education in the district schools of Butler County, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, supplemented by a course of study at Edenboro. He then engaged in teaching school five years, in connection with his work on the home farm. He continued his farming operations until 1900, when he purchased of Hiram Kildoo his store at Rose Point. He carried a general line of merchandise and groceries, and commanded an extensive patronage.
In political affiliation Mr. McClymonds was a Republican. Mrs. McClymonds was a member of the Oak Grove United Presbyterian Church.
