After marriage, they moved to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Their home was near Guys Mills, he owning his father's farm of two hundred and twenty acres, having purchased the interests of his co-heirs, and there they resided until failing health caused his retirement to Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, where he died.
