General Notes: Husband - George Stacy

He was a woolen mill owner and operator, not only on the Sewickley, but also on Georges creek, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, where the mill he built was still standing into the twentieth century. The family may be said to have been identified with the woolen industry, at least two of his brothers being involved.

He operated a woolen mill at Hunkle Station. About 1864 he removed to a place near Fairchance, Fayette County, and it was here that both he and his wife died.
