On page 36 and page 50, M & RF implies that brother and sister, Clair and Lillian McCandless, son and daughter of Bert and Permilla (Stephenson) McCandless, married and had two children, Charles and Charlene. This seems unlikely. Assuming there was a marriage between a Clair McCandless and a Lillian McCandless, could the Clair have been the son of John Franklin and Charlotte (Black) McCandless?
