General Notes: Husband - James Reed


He was born near Baltimore, Maryland, and in early manhood went to Beaver County, Pennsylvania, settling first in Raccoon township, where he purchased a farm, in 1837. Upon this farm, he pursued the calling of an agriculturist until cut off by death at the age of sixty-seven years.

He and his wife were the parents of eleven children.
