General Notes: Husband - Judge William McAlister
Papers in the possession of his descendants showed that he served as paymaster of the 83rd Pennsylvania Regiment in 1812 and 1814. On March 4, 1842 he was appointed one of the two associate Judges of Juniata County, and he served as a trustee of the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church for forty years.
