General Notes: Husband - William Maxwell

He brought his family [from Ireland?] to the United States in the year 1812. His wife died on the ship, but was buried in Baltimore; an infant son also died on the voyage. Thus only two were left, William Maxwell, and Alexander, his son. William Maxwell was forced into the federal service in the War of 1812 and died during the war.
