General Notes: Husband - Robert Stephenson


He came into Washington County, Pennsylvania, from York County just after the close of the Revolutionary war, in which he served as a soldier. He owned four hundred acres of land in Donegal township, near Vienna. He and his wife had eight children.
He was a justice of the peace during his residence in Donegal township. After some years living there he sold his property to Thomas Stokely, and removed to Brown County, Ohio.
