General Notes: Husband - Thomas Marshall


He was born in Concord township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, removed with his mother to Bucks County on her re-marriage in 1762, and resided in that county until 1773 when he returned to Chester County, as an apprentice to the tanning business. When he arrived of legal age he settled on the paternal estate in Concord, where he established a tanyard.

Of his five children, all by his first wife, four lived to mature years, married and reared families, these were two sons, and two daughters.
